Supershu Solar Light

This little solar light by Supershu is amazing! I haven't had time to hang it up outside, but it is quite bright and lite up the whole bedroom! The light has 3 modes. It can be on the whole night, a low light, or a low light and a high ligh when someone walks by. It will be going on our patio area that will eventually be a tranquility garden. We just moved in so we are still getting it all in order.

MADY Pet Seat Cover

The Mady Pet Seat Cover is super nice. It doesn't slip off of my leather seats like a towel usually does. It's easy to wash, if she gets dirty at the dog park, which is almost every time. It is water proof and easy to simply wipe down, so that you don't have to throw it in the wash. It is meant for the front seat, but clips in well to the back seat of my charger. I love that I don't have to worry about my dog scratching my leather seat any longer.

As you can see in the pictures and video, the seat cover is very sheet and you can hardly tell its there. It fits snug with a buckle over the head reset. and doesn't slip off once you tighten it.

Jarro-Dophilus Women Probiotics

I have heard so much about taking probiotics lately from my women's facebook groups, television, and doctor's. Because of this I have tried several different kinds. This brand is by far the best that I have tried, so far. Others didn't do anything that I could feel/see.

Jarro Dophilus has done a lot of research in making their products. The probiotics are also live strain, which are hard to find. The live strain bacteria work better than the others. I have noticed that I feel better and don't have as many issues. I am a triathlete, so I am on the bike a lot and have issues if I don't keep up with showers/changing after my workout and cranberry juice. Now I can slack a bit and not have to worry about UTIs.

Staycation 2017!!

This year we chose a staycation over going out of town. With a sassy two year old toddler, we figured it would be much easier and wouldn't have to stress as much! It was a perfect weekend getaway!

We started out with a trip to Kemah Boardwalk. We got there around 7pm with little lines. Damyon and I went to the rides, while the hubby and Aribelle went to the train. Aribelle was NOT feeling at the new loud noises, so the hubby had to walk away for a bit.

Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures at Kemah, but had a great time. Aribelle had a blast waving at the boats away from all the loudness, while Damyon and I rode rides.

We planned to stay for the fireworks, but Aribelle wasn't feeling walking around any longer. So we left and tried to catch them in the business market,they didn't start on time. By the time we got to the hotel room we were able to see them from the window. It was perfect! We got to beat traffic and still see the fireworks!

Saturday morning started off great with a beautiful sunrise. We got dressed and ate breakfast, then went to to NASA. It was the first time the kids have been. 

We started out by going to see the replica of Independence outside. Then went on a tram tour, which we got to see a real ship!

We had to leave the tram tour early, because of a severe thunderstorm warning, but would definitely go back! Aribelle was ready for a nap so we decided to leave. We can't wait to go back to check out everything else. 

Sunday we went to breakfast and then to the park before heading the short distance home. This was by far a great trip and a short distance. We look forward to doing more staycations with our little family!

Once Again Nut Butters

I received my first blogger mission from Moms Meet recently. I have been a mom ambassador for them for a couple of years. I decided it was time to apply to be a blogger for them and was approved for my first misison shortly after! So this is my first post for them.

I got to try the Once Again Nut Butters. I was not expecting for so much to be coming from the company! Thank you so much for picking me and my family and sending so much. In my package, as you can see in the bottom left corner, the butters were neatly packaged in a flower shaped box. I actually kept the box, and will be recycling it into something else. We got to try their almond butter, peanut butter, sunflower seed butter, and cashew butter. Also, we received a reusable bag, recipe cards, a coloring book, and their racoon mascot named Rocky.

The first thing that I thought of making when I received the news that my family was chosen was french toast! I used fresh Challah bread from a local Jewish deli. I only used about 6 thick slices so that we wouldn't have any let over, it's usually not as good when it's not hot anymore. I think beat 2 eggs, with a 1/2 cup of milk, a tsp of cinnamon, and tbl of vanilla. For each slice of bread, I left soak for about a minute, to give it time to soak up the mixture. I preceded to cook the bread with a slice of butter until crispy, about 2 minutes per side on low. For the topping I mixed 1/2 cup of the Once Again Almond butter with about 3/4 cup of maple syrup (make sure to have the mixture thick and not runny so its more of a filling than liquid). I'm pretty sure this was the best tasting french toast that I've made to date. All it was missing was homemade whipped cream and powdered sugar on top!

Since using the almond butter, we've also made all of the butters with jelly sandwiches and used them on crackers. I have yet to make a cookie with them, which will be coming soon. All of the butters are not too thick and not runny either. They are all natural and organic. They work really well in smoothies and with just taking a spoonful out of the jar. I can't wait to find their honey in store, to try that as well.

I was pleased with the brand, especially since they tasted like I made them at home. I will be purchasing in the future, even if I have to but online. They are worth it for the shipping. I love this laser light! My son has been wanting one for Christmas for a couple years and is so excited to be able to use it this year. The lights are very bright and cover a large amount of area. I just used it in my room with the sun still out and you can see it very well, as you can see from the picture.

I loved this voxbox! It was all about me again. It's like they know me and what I want to try and already use.  CRAZY!!! There were 2 items that I already use, which was great to get a free sample of!

The Dr. Teal came cut open, but I tried to save as much as possible. I use this brand religiously, to detox at least once a week, so it's nice to receive a freebie! I added it to my protein container on the product I already had. :)

The Harvest snaps taste great! I was really looking at this product and thinking none of us would eat it, but low and behold, we all enjoyed them. They have a great crisp to them and they have the after taste of peas. They are a little salty, but I can get over that because the Mg's of salt aren't that much.  I love when I can find healthy treats for my kiddos. I looked at our local Kroger, but they didn't have them. I'm going to have to go down the road and check the HEB!

The simple cleansing cloths are amazing. I have been using them for a few months before this, when I bought them from Target. It's great when you get a product for free that you already love X2!!

It doesn't dry my face out and doesn't have a strong smell. I only have to use one wipe, I could probably cut it in half! It gets everything off of my face plus my mascara! Therefore, I don't have racoon eyes afterwards!! That's a plus!

Review: Large Soft Sided Cooler Bag

This Sacko Large soft sided cooler bag is great! It fits a 12 pack plus ice! Great for picnics or other outings! Unfortunately mine came smelling horrible so I haven't been able to use it :( I sent a message to the seller, but no response so far. If you haven't heard of Mercari, you are behind on times. :p

Goop

We made goop today and Aribelle had a blast!

At first she was scared of it. When I would ask her to touch it she would say no, and back up. She's a very lenient little girl. Once she finally got over it, she couldn't get enough.

We didn't have a plastic bowl unfortunately, and had to make it in a glass bowl. So I transferred it into a plastic cup for her.

All you do is put cornstarch and water. I used about 1/2 cup of stretch to 1/4 cup of water. Mix it and add water if needed.

Remember it is messy, but easy to wash, so don't let your little wear something you don't want to get dirty.

Next time we will be adding food coloring to make different colors.

She had a blast!!

SeaWorld San Antonio vacation 2016!!!

So we went to SeaWorld San Antonio for the third time and had a blast! We decided to go the first week of June and it was perfect! Hardly any lines and it was not too hot yet!

We got there early, since we had tickets for the Beluga Whale experience. It was a complete mess for check-in, even though we had reservations. They just opened Discovery Point, so they were still fixing all of the bugs. We were told to get to the park at 9:15am and weren't allowed in until 9:45 with everyone else. Then we waited, for what seemed like forever for them to get us ready for the experience. Finally at about 11am we were suited up and ready for the ride over to Beluga Bay

We loved it. Even though my son, daughter, and I had tickets, my husband and baby were able to come to the back with a spectator ticket and watch us! The kiddos enjoyed meeting all of the Beluga Whales and doing tricks with them. We even got to take a picture one of them!

After trekking back to the other side of the park to change, we had to shimmy across to a little further than we were to Shamu, with lunch with the Killer Whales. This was our second time having lunch with them and it's absolutely wonderful. You eat a buffet while the Killer Whales are in the background playing and watching you. One of the babies was interested in what was going on and kept jumping on the deck to watch us all eat. At the end, there is a 20-30 activity session with the Killer Whales, where they show different tricks and talk about each individual whale.

Once lunch was done, we got to enjoy the park with no other adventures waiting for us. So first off, was going to roller coasters and letting the kids have fun. Once we got to The Great White, we found out that my son was too short, by one inch. So it was just me and my daughter to ride that one. She had a blast, so we went one more time, since there wasn't a line. While we did that, my husband took my son to the arcade to play some games since he was upset.

After The great White we went to the Steel Eel. This one we knew my son could ride, since he's rode before. We went through three times since there was no line once again.

By this time, the baby was ready to get out of the stroller and play herself. So we went to the Sesame Street Bay of Play for her to get rid of some energy. They big kids ran off any enjoyed the area themselves and we ran around the splash pad with her. It had been her first time at a splash pad and she had a blast! Even after getting water to the face, she couldn't get enough.

Overall, we had a great day with the kiddos and can't wait to go back another time. Who knows what we will conquer next year!

Revive Voxbox

This is my second voxbox from Influenster. When. I first saw that I was receiving it I wasn't very excited. Then I realized what was coming in it, and was thrilled. I am training for a triathlon and a coffee addict, so what more could I need, other than what was coming in this box!

It came with 3 different protein powders, a blender bottle, 3 different k cups, Shea Moisturizer product, and snack wells cookie sample. Everything was great, but the Whey Tech. Not a strawberry fan. HAHA! All 3 k cups for to die for! They are also compositable. The Shea Moisturizer products made my hair so soft and manageable. My curls didn't frizz the entire day. It also smelled like I was at a island bar drink a refreshing drink!

Review - All Natural Fridge Odor Remover by Sagano

I received the Sagano Fresh Fridge Odor Remover and it has been working great! It can be used in the refrigerator, closet, bathroom, etc. I decided to use it in the pantry since sometimes it smells from the trash can.
